A half-day session on “Contemporary Management Issues in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolutions Practices” will be held on June 12. The session is organized in association with The Law Firm Management Committee of the International Bar Association and will be directed by Norman Clark, Head of the Law Firm Management Committee of the IBA. The session promises to have a great international impact, in line with the arbitration event of Asunción, whose success is well known in major global and regional arbitration circles.
Some of the topics that will addressed during the session are:
- Factors which have the strongest impact on the profitability of an international arbitration or dispute resolution practice. Do they vary from country to country, or from firm to firm?
- Business planning in an international arbitration and dispute resolution practice. How do you know how much revenue to expect?
- The future of international arbitration. Do small arbitration and dispute resolution firms have a future in the international legal market?
- Payment of partners in international practices by their firms. Which works best: lockstep, eat-what-you-kill, or something in-between?
- Measurement of quality in legal services by the Clients. How is that different from other practice areas in your firm?
To be held in La Misión Hotel Boutique Saturday June 9, 09:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. - more information about La Mision Hotel Boutique - Web page
